Gmail is another great application brought to us by Google. Gmail is a web mail application that offers plenty of storage space, chat capability, and it even cuts down on the spam being sent to your Inbox. I really like being able to access my other Google applications such as Google Document and Picasa while I’m logged into my Gmail account. By now I’m sure you’ve had a chance to check out GCF’s new Living With HIV link which features “Me and My World: A Workbook for Lifelong Learners”. The workbook explores ways to prevent and live with HIV/AIDS.
HIV/AIDS is a global pandemic. It’s been over 20 years since the first known case of AIDS was reported. Since then the numbers of HIV infections and people dying from complications associated with AIDS has grown. Until a cure is found it’s important for this global pandemic to stay in the news.
