Exploring Vine

Goofy dance-offs, stunning stop motion, and all kinds of other randomness—there's an amazing amount of content to discover on Vine, and there are a lot of ways to find it!

Following people on Vine

When you see a video you like, you can choose to follow the user who created it. This way, new videos from that user will appear in your feed on the Home screen. To follow a user, select a user name and then choose Follow.

Browsing by category

If you want to explore Vine, you can browse by category. The Vine team curates popular and unique vines into categories such as Art, Animals, Comedy, and more! Just go to the Explore tab and choose a category to start exploring.

Browsing by hashtag

A hashtag is any word in a vine's caption that's preceded by a pound sign (#). For example, we've added hashtags like #howto #vine to some of our vines. Whenever you see a hashtag, you can select it to see other videos with the same hashtag.

Searching for vines

If you're looking for a specific vine or user account, you can search for it. Just go to the Explore tab and type what you're looking for in the search box.
