Creating a Chart

Excel charts let you illustrate your workbook data graphically to see trends. Also use charts in Excel to visualize comparisons.

The Chart Wizard

Excel 2000 also includes a Chart Wizard that can take you through the steps to create a chart.

To use the Chart Wizard:

  • Select the range of data you want to chart.
  • Choose InsertChart.

  • OR press the Chart button on the Standard toolbar.
