Working with Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks in Word are useful. Use the Word hyperlink feature to link websites and email addresses directly with Word documents.


  1. Create a new document.
  2. Type some text, and turn a word or phrase into a hyperlink that links to
  3. Test the hyperlink by clicking it. The webpage should open in your browser.
  4. Remove the hyperlink you just created.
  5. Create a hyperlink that links to an email address.
